StencilGirl Workshops!

StencilGirl
I'm over the moon that Mary Beth Shaw has made me a StencilGirl Products Ambassador! Hooray!

Mary Beth recently explained on StencilGirl Products Facebook page:
I am thrilled to announce that
StencilGirl Products now has 2 Ambassadors!
Extend a big welcome to Mary C. Nasser and Julie Mosman Snidle.
After trying (unsuccessfully) to clone myself I could not be more thrilled to have such conscientious and talented assistance. They have already lined up stencil teaching gigs here in St. Louis at the For Keeps Sake store.

All workshops will be held in the classroom at For Keep Sakes.
Sign up today by calling For Keeps Sake at (314) 487-8131.
For Keeps Sake is located at 4530 Lemay Ferry Road in St. Louis, Missouri.

Hope to see you there!

Fearless Faces with StencilGirl Face Maps!
May 18th, 9:30am to 12:30pm

Picture
I love all things maps…that includes StencilGirl Face Maps!
And you will, too!

Using StencilGirl Face Maps, learn how to create front, profile and three-quarter view portraits, with guidelines of proportions of the face.
We’ll practice a variety of sketching, shading and drawing techniques in a fun and supportive environment. Learn to create a range of values and features and become more confident in your drawing skills!
We’ll add extra StencilGirl stencils to the background of our portraits, too!

Everything you need will be available in class. Just bring your creative spirit!

The cost is $45 plus a $10 kit/materials fee that will be collected in class.

Printmaking with StencilGirl Stencils!
June 15th, 9:30am to 12:30pm

StencilGirl Stencils and Wood Icing
Monotype printmaking is a liberating and fun medium – a process that combines both painting and printmaking techniques. We will be layering and removing color, using brayers, StencilGirl stencils, and Gelli Plates to create rich and exciting prints!

Dozens of bottles of paints and inks! Mounds of brushes, brayers, stencils, paper, and catalyst wedges! Infinite possibilities!!
This workshop is open to artists who are just beginning as well as those who are more experienced.

Everything you need will be available in class. Just bring an apron if you’d like!
If you have special rubber stamps you wish to use, feel free to bring them, too.

The cost is $45 for the workshop plus a $10 kit/materials fee that will be collected in class.
