Where the Roads Were Quiet and Still

Today I'm sharing my newest art journal pages! This spread incorporates Andrew Borloz's new Floating Cubes and Grindstones stencils from StencilGirl products – with acrylics, pastels, ink, vintage book pages, an old photo, and a handwritten quote! This spread is 12" x 18" in my large Dylusions journal:
Mary C. Nasser, Mixed Media Art Journal
"Where the roads were quiet and still" are lyrics from Van Morrison's Tir Na Nog. I can't say enough good things about Roxanne Coble's Lyrical online art journal class! It is a blast and I am thoroughly enjoying creating this new body of work!

Below are details of these pages:

I'm linking up with PaperArtsy's 2016 Topic 21: Typography, Fonts and Quotes challenge and Art Journal Journey!

Thanks so much for visiting my blog!
I hope you have a wonderful week!
