It's Week 8 of #thestencilfiedjournal! This collaboration was organized by Tina Walker, Collaborations Columnist for StencilGirl® Talk! Each prompt uses StencilGirl® Products in a fun and unique way, combined with some interesting and 'out of the box' ideas!
PROMPT #8 is stencil with glue!
PROMPT #8 is stencil with glue!
For Week 8, I used a palette knife to spread Aleene's Tacky Glue through the 9" x 12" stencil from StencilClub August 2017 - Second Star to the Right & Straight on 'til Morning. After it dried, I added acrylic over the entire spread. The dried glue removed easily to expose the white gesso beneath. Then I nested the 9" x 12" stencil from StencilClub's August 2017 set back onto the pages, placing smaller stars within larger ones, pounced VersaMark through, then used Seth Apter's Deep Sea Baked Texture. I added marks with a black ink pen and map stars, too.
Want to join in the fun? Watch Tina Walker's blog and follow her on Facebook and Instagram for new prompts each Monday! Be sure and tag #thestencilfiedjournal and #stencilgirl with each post so we can see your wonderful creations!
