“Don’t wait until everything is just right.
It will never be perfect.
There will always be challenges, obstacles and less than perfect conditions.
So what. Get started now.
With each step you take, you will grow stronger and stronger,
more and more skilled and more self-confident and more and more successful.”
~Mark Victor Hansen, founder and co-creator of
the Chicken Soup for the Soul book series
With the recent snow days, I did something I’ve been meaning to do for a while now: I joined some Etsy teams. On Etsy, a Team is a community feature where you can connect with other members. With Teams, you meet people with common interests, and collaborate. It's also a way for shoppers to browse by theme or location and find shops that might interest them. Despite not knowing how to join a team the “right” way, I dove in and was welcomed. Now I am connecting with other Etsy sellers with common interests; it has been a great help. So much creativity takes place in solitude; it is important for artists to remain part of a community (or communities), too.
Below are two of the teams I’ve joined. Clicking on any image below will take you to the team’s page.
