I’ve been playing like crazy with these new StencilGuts in my mixed media art journals! And I must say I am
*sort of* addicted to StencilGuts now!
Today I’m sharing four journal spreads with my three favorite techniques for using StencilGuts:
1. Using StencilGuts on my mini Gelli plates (especially the mini round plate)
2. Painting the StencilGuts themselves and using them as ephemera!
They’re so thin and light that I just use my UHU glue stick to adhere painted StencilGuts to the page.
3. Using StencilGuts as mini-masks – especially on textured backgrounds.
In this spread below, I incorporated all three of these techniques with the various sized X’s I received from Terri Stegmiller’s X-12 stencil and Michelle Ward's X Rows.
I also used my mini square and rectangle Gelli printing plates. I painted the lowercase m and n StencilGuts with white acrylic and glued them on the page, too!
One lucky winner will receive StencilGuts from EACH category:
Geometric Shapes, Birds, Cats & Rabbits, Flourishes, Hands, and Dirty Random Guts!
