StencilGirl & Walnut Hollow Blog Hop!

Welcome to the StencilGirl & Walnut Hollow Blog Hop!
StencilGirl & Walnut Hollow Blog Hop!
It's time to spring forward and do some spring cleaning!
So for today’s blog hop, I stained, painted, and embellished a 10" x 12" rectangular tray
to hold my bottles of paint!
Mary C. Nasser, StencilGirl & Walnut Hollow blog hop
I began by staining the entire serving tray with Minwax Water-Based Wood Stain in Antique Jade.
Next, I pounce Seth Apter's PaperArtsy Buff paint through my Going Global stencil, removed the stencil, then filled in the entire oval with the same Buff Paint.

While that paint was drying, I used my Jet Black Ranger Archival ink pad
and a fingertip sponge daubers to stencil words from
Let's Go 1 and Let's Go 2 onto labels.
After removing the stencils, I connected the bridges of the letters with my Sakura black Identi-Pen.

I realigned my Going Global stencil back onto the Buff oval, and used a sponge dauber
and my StazOn Midi in Ganache to re-stencil on the continents and latitude and longitude lines.
Love this color combination of Ganache on Buff!

My final steps were arranging the labels of words around the image of the world,
then applying a thin coat of matte varnish to protect the surface.

I absolute love your Going Global Stencil! Man, I could have used it on a painting currently working on. I actually see a mistake I made...Geographically challenged I am. Traveling to Europe this summer & want to use this stencil & your stamps in a journal.
Thanks for the opportunity to win this. THANKS!
