Saturday's Art Journaling Workshop with Seth Apter and Mary Beth Shaw at her studio was a dream come true! There were a plethora of StencilGirl stencils there, too, of course!

Today I'm sharing photos of the art journal I created at the workshop...
We used a variety of papers and painting supplies – both recycled and store-bought – along with several painting and printmaking techniques to create unique art journal covers!
We folded papers and stitched these to the covers to create 60-page journals that we can continue to fill!

In addition to making our own unique journals, Mary Beth and Seth also shared some of their favorite journal techniques and ways they prepare journal spreads. It was really great to see their art journals in person, too, and be inspired by their surfaces and textures, colors and layers!
