Scribble Writing and StencilGuts

5/2/2016

I love working in multiple journals – working in one while others are drying!
Today I’m sharing spreads from both my small and large art journals.
Mary C. Nasser, Mixed Media Art Journal
This first spread incorporates acrylics, paper ephemera, and Gelli printed papers on which I stenciled It's a Small World Latitude, Go Your Own Way Arrows, and Rae Missigman's Look Here Arrow from StencilGirl Products. Of course I had to include a LOT of scribble writing, in both black ink and white paint pen, too!

Below are detailed photos:

In this second spread, I layered acrylics, gesso, Mary Beth Shaw's Private Collection 16.1, It's a Small World Latitude again, and prints with StencilGuts on my mini round Gelli plates! I used my white pen and black pen again to add scribble writing and mark-making. I also painted and glued StencilGuts directly onto the page!
