Today I'm sharing my newest art journal pages! This spread incorporates lots of StencilGirl Products stencils: my Second Star to the Right and Straight on ‘til Morning stencil, Let’s Go 1 stencil, and Around the World Longitude stencil, Military Style Stars stencil by June Pfaff Daley, and Tribal Pattern B -Twirls stencil by Andrew Borloz. I've also layered acrylic paints, pastels, inks, collage, and handwritten quotes using techniques from Roxanne Coble's Lyrical online art journal class! This spread is 12" x 18" in my large Dylusions journal:
This first detail shows stars I created with metallic gel pens through the Military Style Stars stencil:
The detail below shows collage from paper created in Nancy Curry's Transformations workshop with my Around the World Longitude stencil:
Below I'm used one of my favorite techniques with my Let’s Go 1 stencil: stenciling the word sail with my Jet Black Ranger Archival ink pad and fingertip sponge dauber. Then removing the stencils connect the bridges with my Sakura black Identi-Pen:
I loved collaging vintage pages into my art journaling, too:
Lastly, below is a detail of the sticky back canvas I painted, then cut into a star shape from my Second Star to the Right and Straight on ‘til Morning stencil:
I'm linking up with the Simon Says: Road Trip challenge, and The Mixed Media Monthly March Challenge #46: Use a Stencil & Three Mediums!
Thanks so much for visiting my blog!
I hope you have a great weekend!
