My new painting this week is entitled Reflect.
©2012 Mary C. Nasser, Reflect, mixed-media/acrylic on canvas, 5 x 7 inches
©2012 Mary C. Nasser, Reflect, mixed-media/acrylic on canvas, 5 x 7 inches
Inspired by my recent experience at Osage Arts Community where I had time to reflect and connect to nature...
this painting layers Hawaiian maps, typed text, metal, ephemera, wood icing, acrylic paint and media on a small stretched canvas.

Thanks so much for visiting my blog!
Hope you're having a wonderful week!

Mary^

I'm so glad you had a reflective retreat time. It's so important to take time to commune with nature.
Your piece is amazing! I haven't heard of wood icing, so will be checking it out.
Have a wonderful week!

Beautiful as always, all your work is so like but in the same time so different, (hope you understand what I mean) love your colors. I love how we can see the layers, Im always afraid of layers so Im very careful with it, but it looks so great in your paingings.
