New Work Wednesday: Open Fields

My new painting this week is entitled Open Fields.

This painting layers maps, text, metal ephemera, Matisse Dry Medium, acrylic paint and media on a small stretched canvas.

Open Fields refers again to my special time spent at Osage Arts Community.

I love the title of your painting this time Mary, Open fields and I start thinking about open fields I have seen over the world, have you seen photo of Holland taken from above, that is so fantastic all the squarer fields there. Have a beautiful weekend.

This work is visual candy. I love that my eye just dances around from point on point settling on that little blue drip/lake/pond on the left ...I absolutely just want to dive in there and then see where the open field takes me. Fabulous piece
