Thank you, Mary, for choosing my Seaweed stencil to create the artwork featured today! I loved your creative way of putting the stencil to use, and I learned several new things from reading the tutorial you wrote to accompany the artwork. That stencil was designed in Photoshop, working from a photo I had taken on a California beach -- when I saw the beautiful textures in a piece of seaweed that had washed ashore, I delighted at the opportunity to capture the beauty in my camera. That seaweed died a long time ago but thanks to artists like you, its memory lives on!
