My new painting this week is entitled Longitude.

This painting layers maps, Matisse Dry Medium (garnet), acrylic paint and media on a  small stretched canvas.

as the compositions get more and more complicated I am loving them more and more... this one is so wonderfully balanced and the colour is just so full of light... love this one...xx

This one reminds me of the old maps with all the owners names on them. . . . latitude/longitude. I loved looking at those old maps. Blessings, Janet PPF
