My new painting this week is entitled Long Walk.

This painting layers Hawaiian maps, Wood Icing, metal, ephemera, acrylic paint and media on a small stretched canvas.

You are a very good artist! :) I like the brownish golden *long walk* that lokk like sand.. :) by a beach..

I see your name and ask myself "Where are we going tonight? Where will the map lead me?"
I love the texture in this piece. the raised letters, such a fun piece.
The bottom one got my eye as well.

Wonderful! I was wondering, is there a reason you always use maps of Hawaii and of no where else? Is Hawaii significant to you?
