My new painting this week is entitled Listened.
©2012 Mary C. Nasser, Listened, mixed-media/acrylic on canvas, 5 x 6 inches
©2012 Mary C. Nasser, Listened, mixed-media/acrylic on canvas, 5 x 6 inches
This painting layers maps, text, olivine, metal ephemera, acrylic paint and media on a small stretched canvas.
This work was inspired by my experiences taking walks and hikes outside, listening and reconnecting with nature.

Thanks so much for visiting my blog!
Hope you're having a wonderful week!
Mary^

Hi Mary: Always hard for me to empty my head and just listen to the land when I take a walk in my favorite woods - thx for the reminder. Love your work, always so unique and meaningful!

Your work is so identifiable as yours, I feel like I am repeating myself, but I love your choice of images and words, the delicious texture you always use and the colour palette you choose. All gloriously you. :)
