My new painting this week is entitled Layer on Layer.
©2012 Mary C. Nasser, Layer on Layer, mixed-media/acrylic on canvas, 4 x 6 inches
©2012 Mary C. Nasser, Layer on Layer, mixed-media/acrylic on canvas, 4 x 6 inches
This painting layers maps, text, olivine, metal ephemera, acrylic paint and media on a small stretched canvas.

I am still on cloud nine about this past weekend…having my paintings in 2 opening receptions and being published in Featuring Magazine!

Bruno is overjoyed, too! Then again, he’s always overjoyed!
He’s especially delighted that the weather has cooled off enough here for him to sunbathe on the back deck!
Bruno doesn't mind the sun in his eyes!

This weekend we are supposed to have wonderful weather again, which means more miles of walking together
for us!

Thanks so much for visiting my blog!
Hope you're having a wonderful week!

I am always so surprised to learn these pieces are so small. I imagine that they are all a part of a much larger whole! Ilove the colors and textures and I am sure I am being repetive, but it is what it is...just beautiful.

thanks for your comments tonight, much appreciated.
