Journey
My new painting this week is entitled Journey.
This painting layers a Hawaiian map, encaustic (wax), ink, mica, text, stamped metal, olivine (I purchased on the Big Island of Hawaii), acrylic media and acrylic on a small stretched canvas.

Below is a detail of the work.
