This painting layers maps, olivine, metal ephemera, acrylic paint and media on a small stretched canvas.

Looking forward to another art reception this week...Friday night is the opening reception for eARThworks!
The exhibition contains artwork donated by sixty St. Louis regional artists to benefit The Missouri Coalition for the Environment.

And I'm honored that my painting Boundaries was selected for the postcard announcement!
Below is an image of the the front and back of the postcard announcement.

Mary, your work is beautiful and inspiring. As the daughter of a geographer it has particular resonance for me. I used to love watching the cartographers at my Dad's office hard at work. I envied the precision and detail of the work they got to do for a living. Mitzi (your newest follower lol)
