I’ve been taking Traci Bautista’s online digitalCANVAS e-course for a couple weeks now, and have been learning tons while enjoying lots of new apps and processes!

In the image below, I even experimented by layering digital images of my recent Gelli plate prints, then making a variety of marks on top. The inspiration for this was the idea of winter transforming into spring.

Traci’s lessons are broken down into small parts, allowing us to quickly participate in new processes.
Each lesson builds upon previous lessons, and Traci really encourages us to learn by playing and having fun!
I no longer feel like a newbie at digital art – thanks to Traci – and highly recommend this e-course to anyone interested in drawing and painting digitally!

What's your experience with digital art?

Thanks so much for visiting my blog!
Hope you're having a wonderful week!

Wonderful bright colors and movement....love this new style Mary!! I love digital even more than painting. I think I'm better at it because I can underpaint things...and erase quickly!! I wish I knew photoshop better though...and wish it was fast too...almost any other program seems quicker!

Hi Mary,

I stopped by from class. Great post. I'm just getting into Gelli mono printing! I loved printmaking back in undergrad but haven't had room to do it @ home. So I am super excited about learning this new process.
