Had so much fun at Mary Beth Shaw’s studio Thursday!
Made a dos-a-dos, pamphlet book, and French doors book with
Gelli plate covers using the Gelli plate prints I showed on my blog last week!

Also made a collage greeting card and ATC's!
These are all samples projects for a 2-part workshop I'll be teaching this fall!

I'm very excited I've been asked to teach at Foundry Art Centre for the first time this fall!
I'll be teaching 2 workshops: Gelly Plate Party! – Part 1 & Gelly Plate Party! – Part 2.

Gelly Plate Party! – Part 1
Saturday, October 5, 2013

9:30am-12:30pm
Curious about the Gelli Plate craze?
Join Mary Nasser at the Foundry Art Centre and learn the amazing properties of the Gelli Plate printmaking process. Create stunning textures and patterns on a mixture of papers. Luscious layers created with acrylic paint and stencils can easily stand alone or become the base for future artwork (see Part 2!).
Your finished pages will be suitable for binding into art journals, scrapbooking, collage, artist trading cards, greeting cards and more! Come empty handed and leave with beautiful hand-painted papers!

Saturday, October 19, 2013

9:30am-12:30pm
What will you do with all your Gelli Plate prints?
We'll bind our prints into books and art journals, cut them up for collage and greeting cards, and even make artist trading cards (ATCs) – mini works of art!
We'll layer, paste, stitch, draw and paint. Learn new techniques to take your prints to the next level!

These classes may also be taken individually.

Class size is limited; advance registration is required!

Hope to see you there!

Thanks so much for visiting my blog!
And hope you're having a wonderful week!
