My new map painting this week is entitled A Little Place.

This is another painting inspired by my time on the farm at Osage Arts Community.
That's the StencilGirl Rafters stencil again – with acrylic paints around the text.

Feeling blessed, too.. Sold The Quiet Sky below at Webster House Galleries this past weekend!
It's going to a good home!

Thanks so much for visiting my blog.
Hope you're having a wonderful week!

great piece, the teal and gold are so rich looking, and the text makes it a sweet little farmland that somebody loves!
also I wanted to tell you, I don't have it posted yet but I have come to your side... I have been making maps lately, imaginary watercolor maps, hopefully something to post about in a week or two... so fun!

Mary, your use of arrows, points and spirals is so effective here. I really dig the colors and shapes they sit upon. Beautiful! HPPF

i love the layers of your work, but seeing your stencils, then how you incorporate them into your beautiful art really helps me appreciate the amount of work you put into your creations.
