More peeks into my small art journal...

I'm continuing to work in my small Dylusions art journal in addition to my large Dylusions art journals.
I use my smaller art journal to test materials and techniques that are new to me. I also use the pages like underpaper – to wipe off paint brushes, my fingers, stencils, rubber stamps – so I am not wasting any materials that remain on my tools. It’s fun and gives me an immediate background, too!

I created these pages simultaneously to making my DLP Week 6, Week 7 and Week 8 spreads:
art journal
These pages layer gesso, acrylic, newsprint underpapers, glue and gesso along with QoR watercolors, map stickers, washi tape, black Stabilo, stencils, rubber stamps, white gel pen and black permanent pen.

Below are details:

This time I layered black gesso, acrylic paint, stencils, underpaper, paint pen, graphite, white pen, permanent black pen, black Stabilo, a small number 5 decal and rubber stamping.

Love the pinks and yellows... these are so fun! I think the circle bits of maps on the first one are my favorite part :)

So bright and happy Mary! Clean up pages are some of the best in an art journal!
