I'm continuing to work in my small Dylusions art journal in addition to my large Dylusions art journals.
I use my smaller art journal to test materials and techniques that are new to me. I also use the pages like underpaper – to wipe off paint brushes, my fingers, stencils, rubber stamps – so I am not wasting any materials that remain on my tools. It’s fun and gives me an immediate background, too!

These pages layer gesso, acrylic, newsprint underpapers, glue and gesso along with QoR watercolors, map stickers, washi tape, black Stabilo, stencils, rubber stamps, white gel pen and black permanent pen.

This time I layered black gesso, acrylic paint, stencils, underpaper, paint pen, graphite, white pen, permanent black pen, black Stabilo, a small number 5 decal and rubber stamping.
