I turned it on immediately, continued to paint, listening to five ways of mapping the world through each of our five senses.
Map-lovers, give it a listen!
Have a great beginning to your week!

The other day, I was painting in my studio, listening to Van Morrison like I usually do, when my friend Joan telephoned me to tell me there was a special program on NPR about mapping. (Joan is the same friend who passed along Ted Kooser’s Techtonics poem to me.) I turned it on immediately, continued to paint, listening to five ways of mapping the world through each of our five senses. Map-lovers, give it a listen! Have a great beginning to your week! Mary^

Oh this American life! I listen to that in my studio every day. I haven't listened to this one yet. It must be a new one. I am going through the archives but I will listen to that one tomorrow while I work. I can't listen to music while I am working. I am not sure why. But I adore Ira Glass and could listen to him all day. Sometimes I do.

Oh wow!, what a great find with you blog and connected blogs. I am amazed and thrilled to learn so much from others... Myself, only recently finally have time to focus on art and need advice. Have searched for art blogs previously but didn't see you until tonight. I could spend hours connecting, learning and admiring..
