Map It!

I couldn’t be happier that my three map painting submissions were juried into the National Juried Exhibit
"Map It" at the Riverside Arts Center!
The prospectus read:
Are you a map lover? Do you love to incorporate maps / globes / map concepts in your artwork creations?

I knew I had to try.

Below are my three paintings that were accepted into the exhibition:

58 artists from 19 states have been accepted in this show.

The show will be displayed August 1st – 24, 2013.

Best of all, this exhibit will also go online after the reception on August 3rd so it can be seen worldwide!

Have a wonderful beginning to your week!

I also love using maps in my spreads/collages. They have such ready-made visual interest and bring the associations of the places featured into the piece. These are really beautiful works. Thanks for sharing.
