Kristen Powers & RubberMoon

This weekend, I visited my delightful friend Kristen Powers (also known as Kae Pea) at her studio and RubberMoon in Historic downtown Louisiana, Missouri!
Kristen Powers Kae Pea
The lower level of the building contains her lovely retail store and classroom space.
On the second floor, Kristen has an amazing studio full of inspiration and space where RubberMoon stamps are manufactured and inventoried. I even got to see (and smell!) the vulcanizer in action making rubber stamps!

A long hallway and stairwell connect her studio/manufacturing area upstairs to the retail shop and classroom below. Kristen has transformed this space into a gallery of original art from artists all over the world!
She’s entitled this gallery project the HeART Space Artist Collective.
The work on display ranges in size from 3” x 3” to 12” x 12” and truly is an awesome sight to see!

Needless to say, I came home with lots of goodies from RubberMoon, too!
Seven stamps an ink pad, cigar box, and this really cool pencil case!

I’m going to have a lot of fun with these!

Have a wonderful creative week!

Great Post Mary, I love my rubberstamps and do not use them enough. I am afraid I am suffering from artistic tools overload. Thanks for sharing

Is this what heaven looks like. You gave us just a peek, but from your description, it must be gorgeous and just about perfect.
