Blogging definitely requires time and energy, but you can gain much by doing it with passion and persistence!

Below are just some of the benefits I’ve experienced since beginning my blog 2 years ago.

1. Connecting with others and becoming a part of a          community.
I've been fortunate enough to communicate with many other creative people all over the world through blogging.

2. Inspiring others and being inspired by others.

3. Learning new technology.
Whether it's HTML code, creating a blog button, or                     experimenting with my DSLR camera, I am constantly learning new technology to improve my blog.

4. Creating goals: for both my blog and my life.

5. Attaining goals.
Keeping a blog keeps me accountable.

6. Creating art.

7. Researching with purpose.

8. A sense of consistency and grounding.
With the ups and downs of life, blogging remains a constant in mine.

9. You’ll accomplish more than you ever thought you could!

10. Blogging is something wonderful to look forward to!

Please leave a comment telling me which blogging boon is your favorite!

Have a great beginning to your week!

Found you through the Ultimate Blog Challenge, Mary, and just had to say what a great post this is! I started blogging as a means to carve out some regular writing time, but the interaction and feedback I've given and received through the blogging community have been the biggest blessings, I think. Happy blogoversary when it arrives - and keep blogging!

Happy Blogiversary! I've been blogging for several years too, and it's become so much more than I ever thought it could be. It introduced me to people I never would have met otherwise, it's taught me a lot of things about owning a small business, and it's just flat out fun! I love it.

I do enjoy your regular blogging, Mary. I am such an intermittent blogger that I know I am not getting as much out of it as I could. Thanks for making that commitment.

I enjoying blogging as it showcases my knowledge and talents to potential customers. I like to think that if someone reads my blog and learns something from it that they would consider employing me to carry out some work for them at a future date

Hi Mary, I'm a fellow BYW student. I would have to say learning new technology and attaining goals are two of the things I am currently getting out of blogging. I have learned so much in the last 6 months, but feel like I have so much more to learn. I'm just trying to take things one step at a time. I hope to connect with more bloggers in the future and become part of a blogging community. In the meantime I'm just enjoying the process and it has gotten me in the habit of writing again.

Blogging is a great way to communicate but also to share your feelings with everyone. I remember when blogs were not so popular, but I am glad to see they are a staple in todays internet which is making sites much more enjoyable and informative.

Thank you Mary for sharing your 10 benefits, it just goes to show you everything you can do with a blog. BTW... love the cupcake!
