Hi Mary! Thanks so much for your compliment on my piece! And for following! I've been here at your place before and love your creativity! I like to look at maps too, they are so interesting, and what's more, I always think what kind of mind can create something like this?? So cool!

Mary what a really nice surprise when I discovered that you are a huge fan of geology. I studied geology to Master's by research level, and is one great passion in my life. You really caught my attention by your love of geology. I can do geology maps in my sleep, and I never brought them into my other passion the artistic world. But you have inspired me to bring my knowledge of geology into my art work. I can't wait to get in the craft room to get started on some geology related art. I could just scan some of my sketches out of my geology field note books, people always comment on them. My feeling is that only you and I would appreciate what they are. When I start ranting about geological features, people generally just shut off and start to glaze over, I never realised that some people actually genuinely appreciate it. Thank you for inspiring me. I have become a follower of you too. And your my 50th follower, yey! I love your art work, it's amazing. Shame I can't just visit you and see all your pieces. I too have been to the dormant/extinct (they are never extinct, they all have the potential to come back!) of New Mexico. In 2006 I (along with other people) took 22 geology students across California, Nevada, Arizona and New Mexico on a 3 week geology trip, great experience, loved it very much. Michelle xx

Oh, I loved reading Michelle's comment above! AND I LOVE those pillows! How beautiful - I can totally picture them in a nautical setting or retreat.
