I’ve been a fan of Rachel’s work for a long time – love the luminosity, layers and maps (of course)!

My map paintings are layered with maps and  a medium buffed with oil.  The final creation is drawn and painted on this lovely, textured surface.  Inspired by simple moments of beauty over maps from all over the world.  Each painting is named for a location on the map…
