This Friday’s Feature artist is Noriko Ambe!

Be ready to blown out of the water by the cut paper sculptures she creates!

She writes:
Started in '99, this is my life work.
I individually cut single sheets of paper by free-hand and stack them together.
The work consists of positive or negative shapes.
I am trying to embody relationships among humans, time and nature.

these are mind boggling exquisite. What patience.

I love that something so potentially fragile as paper has created such a look of solid substance.
I just love these forms, they touch my soul.

Blown out of the water is an understatement. These are phenomenal and what a crazy amount of time she must put in on each one.
