Friday Favorite: Laurie Marcum

This Friday’s Feature artist is Laurie Marcum!

She is beading all 50 states, pin by pin!

Although most pins are smaller than 2 square inches, each contains a wonderful personal narrative!
I also love the whimsical sense of humor she injects into certain pins – see Kansas and Nevada below!

She even has a common thread throughout the project (no pun intended!)…she is stitching a silver, stamped bead to the capitol on each state. Can't wait to see what she does for the Big Island of Hawaii!
