This Friday's Feature artist is Kathleen Howard and her wonderful fabric creations! Needless to say, I absolutely love her topographic textiles!! Kathleen is both a fabric designer and quilter. She lives on a farm in Vermont where her family raises beef, makes syrup and grows vegetables. Kathleen's passion for fabric design runs in the family. Her sister Jane Walker also designs fabrics...Jane’s specialty are greyhound motif fabrics!

They are lovely work. I love the first and third one - very soft colours.

There are more designs at Spoonflower. I got started doing the maps for one of Spoonflower's weekly contests. Anywhere and Nowhere was my entry and it is my highest placing design. The maps are my most popular designs, though I have done many other types of designs.
