This Friday’s featured map artist is Johanne Durocher Yordan and her delightful mixed-media map paintings! I love the depth and texture she achieves by collaging maps into her work.

She has a lovely series of both red poppies and sunflowers:

Geographically Speaking, 24" x 48"
In addition, Johanne paints irises, lilies, tulips and coneflowers!
See more of her art on her website here and keep up with her on her Facebook page here!

Wish the flowers in my garden grew out of maps!
TGIF!
