Friday Favorite: Jen Stark

This Friday’s Feature artist is Jen Stark!
She received her BFA from Maryland Institute College of Art and creates amazing and intricate sculptures of bright paper, each one built — layer by layer — completely by hand.

Her kaleidoscopic artwork brings to mind geodes and topographic maps.

In one interview, she stated:
My work definitely emulates nature.
I love how nature is a vast unknown that we have barely begun to understand.
I hope to evoke a similar feeling of awe and mystery in my artwork.
I enjoy the layers of topographical maps.
