Friday Favorite: Henry Hargreaves & Caitlin Levin

This Friday’s featured artists are photographer Henry Hargreaves and food stylist Caitlin Levin
– they collaborated on a series of food-based country maps composed of signature national ingredients!
The typography is by Sarit Melmed.

Inspired by a passion for travel, these maps made with real food show how food has traveled the globe –
and become a part of the cultural identity of places.

I can’t decide if France or the UK/Ireland map is my favorite! They look delicious!

Henry and Caitlin’s collaborations have spanned a decade – with food being their favorite medium!

This short video gives a wonderful behind-the-scenes look at the making of their food maps!
Be sure to check out Henry and Caitlin's website for more...like museums made of gingerbread and an Oreo map of the world!
TGIF!

What a super fun idea. I wonder about the longevity of his pieces.
