This Friday’s Feature artist is Becky Alprin!

Her work explores human nature through the built environment and its relationship to the surrounding landscape. During her most recent residency at Spiro Arts in Utah this summer, Becky created a body of drawings from geologic data and the historical record that memorialize a specific location on the earth by compressing all the eras of its life into one moment!

I especially love her topographical drawings and map reliefs!

Hi Mary,

It's Sarah from BYW. Great stuff here! I love Becky's work, especially the combination of line and shape.
