This Friday’s featured artist is Agnes Denes and her gorgeous map projections:

Agnes Denes began making map projections, topographical drawings created with graphic paper, watercolor, and ink in the 1960s.

Agnes Denes is also known for her creative use of metallic inks and other non-traditional materials in designing exquisitely rendered drawings and prints.

Since her exhibition career began in the 1960s, she has participated in more than 450 exhibitions at galleries and museums throughout the world!
