In a world where technology seems to advance at an exponential and pressing rate, we have two choices.
We can resist technology, or we can learn to make the most of it.

A teacher said that our grandparents lived more like Caesar than like us.  The older I get, the better I appreciate this.  It wasn’t until I was in graduate school that email was developed.  My younger sister and I would exchange letters through the mail, and I distinctly remember her telling me that a new, free way of sending messages electronically existed.  Back then, it sounded like it was more work that it was worth to me.

I worked with Photoshop to edit photos, learning as I played.
I’ve shared the photos above of my dog Daphne in our first snow of the season Sunday.

We’re supposed to have inclement weather again this week.  Why not use the time to play on Photoshop?  You don’t need an Apple computer.  The website is free and even has photos for you to edit and play with, so there’s no excuse not to start.  I love that it’s full-proof in that it never changes your original photo!

Check it out and have fun at http://www.photoshop.com/tools.
