Art-Filled Weekend!

9/10/2012

It was a wonderful art-filled weekend!

I am fortunate enough to have paintings both in the All Media exhibition at Lillian Yahn Gallery
and also in the WaxCentric group exhibition at Tavern of Fine Arts!
The opening receptions were Friday and Saturday.
Art-Filled Weekend!
Then on Sunday, I learned that 4 of my mixed-media map paintings have been published
in issue #2 of Featuring Magazine – including one of my paintings on the front cover!

I couldn’t be more thrilled!
It's been a dream of mine to have my paintings featured in a print magazine!
And Featuring Magazine is an international magazine with the publisher based in the Netherlands
and an international team!

Here's a peek at Issue #2 from Featuring's website:
Featuring
Front cover...the second painting is mine!

Preview of the Mapping It Out article I'm in...those are my paintings!
I want to thank the editors at Featuring from the bottom of my heart for publishing my paintings and interview
in their wonderful magazine – and for making one of my dreams come true!

Have a great beginning to your week!
Mary^

Mary congratulations on your shows both current and upcoming! I knnow you deserve the recognition....it's an uphill swim as an artist sometimes but worth it when others come to recognize your talent.

Enjoy the glow!
