A Sense of Community: WCA

As an artist, I often work in solitude.

Connecting with others takes more effort – it means leaving the studio and putting myself out there.

But the St. Louis Chapter of Women’s Caucus for Art makes it easy and fun.
The purpose of the Women's Caucus for Art is to support and encourage the growth and development of all women in the arts.

Last week’s meeting was motivating as usual – Mary Beth Shaw was the evening’s Guest Presenter.

Check out the photos below of her demonstration and members trying out new techniques!

what a wonderful idea. You are so correct about the solitary nature of painting.
