Earlier, I posted about participating in The Map Project at Art House Co-op.

On Friday, I mailed my artwork for 2 more Art House Co-op projects:
The 4 x 6 Exchange and The 4 x 6 Exchange 2!

My submission for The 4 x 6 Exchange! Mixed-media and watercolor on watercolor paper.
Both The 4 x 6 Exchange and The 4 x 6 Exchange 2 are worldwide community art swaps!

1000 artists signed up for each project!
Participants mail in 4” x 6” artwork and a self-addressed, stamped envelope.
Art House will exchange my work with another artist’s submission and surprise both of us with the results!

I've been really wanting to get in on an Art House Co-Op project but I always end up finding a reason to push it aside. Maybe next time! :)

Then what do you do with each other's cards? Do you put them on Pinterest? I am not artistic, but I am curious. Thanks for an interesting and pretty blog, Mary.

Ann,
Thanks for your comment and questions.
After the art work is exchanged, each artist keeps the other's art. :)
Take care,
Mary

Hi Mary, Looks like a fun swap. My Sketchbook Project 2012 was the first thing I did with the Brooklyn Art Library. May have to try some more projects. I especially like your top map showing the layers.
Blessings on your day,
Coleen in Ukraine

What a great swap! I thought of you while I was on vacation- as we flew over the Caribbean islands I was just captivated. The person next to me thought "yup, another island that is just like the one before" - I was having a love affair with the colors of blue, the sandy shorelines, and the reefs showing in the pale waters. I enjoyed your art before, but now I "get it" even more!
