This Friday’s featured artist is Emma Johnson (no relation to last week’s featured artist Bryce Johnson).

Emma Johnson lives in England. She is a visual artist, working mainly with installation and mixed media.
Her work deals with issues of deconstruction and transformation, the recycling of materials, and the ambiguity of communication.

This is quite intriguing. I imagine that it took a lot of work to cut all these roads out of the maps and then layer them down. Fantastic work, very impressive.
