My new painting this week is entitled Mark The Way.

This week's painting layers a vintage survey map, text, and acrylic paint on small stretched canvas.

Its title was inspired by the bit of text I chose to incorporate into the composition as a small tribute to new friend
Mark McClane.
I've mentioned Mark
before...he is Executive Director of Osage Arts Community, and he supported me and my creativity unconditionally...before he ever even met me! He gave me the gifts of unconditional support, space, time, solitude, and friendship. And I am so very grateful. In many ways, he did help me find my way because I learned much from him.

Back on the home front...I’m thrilled to have sold 3 of my paintings at Wood Icing in the last week, too!
Such a great feeling that others connect with my work!

And here's my Wood Icing coupon one more time just in case you missed it...
Thanks so much for visiting my blog!
Hope you're having a wonderful week!

Lovely paintings. I like the most 'Exploration'. It is great how you use topography in your art. I studied Geography and it used to be my passion for years. Have a lovely, peaceful and magical Christmas.
